Mohd Razif Mohd Yusoff
Head, Safety & Sustainability
Sime Darby Property Berhad (SDP)
Razif heads up Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), Sustainability, Quality and Security at SDP. Since joining the company in 2021, Razif has secured a number of sustainability achievements for SDP, including winning awards by EdgeProp Malaysia's Responsible Developer and Malaysia Rating Corp.
He was previously in Shell for 25 years, half of this in Health, Safety, Security & Environment, with experience in Malaysia, Pakistan and the Netherlands HQ. He won the Cannes Corporate Media & TV award, the prestigious Shell CEO HSSE Award, and was the contributing author to several safety publications. He was a board member of the Dutch Tripod foundation for incident investigation.
He left Shell in 2017 and joined UEM Edgenta, where he managed to reduce fatalities for their high risk maintenance operations from 12 in 2017 to 0 in 2020 working with the leaders and establishing an integrated management system. He bagged 5 OSH gold awards from Malaysian Society of Occupational Safety & Health.
Sharif James Zainal Aziz

Sharif has been in the field of Sustainability close to two decades, graduating from the University of Waikato in Hamilton New Zealand, he attained a BSocSc, BSocSc Geography-Hons (1st Class), MSocSc Geography and PGDipREP. His present role focuses mostly on the strategic and tactical level of sustainability and guiding ESG company performance.
Prior to joining Sime Darby Property, he was attached to G&P Maritime Sdn Bhd and a boutique Marine Consultancy. Before his arrival in Malaysia, he was a policy analyst for the Northland Regional Council, New Zealand.
Sharif has presented most recently at JC3 Flagship Conference 2021, MARC 360: PROPERTY RECHARGE 2O20, GBC 2019, IGEM 2017, and prior to 2010, to various platforms including inter-government meetings of APEC in Vancouver, Chinese Taipei and Bali.

BK Sinha was the former CEO of Malaysia Green Building Council (malaysiaGBC), Vice Chair of the Asia Pacific Network (APN) of the WorldGBC, and current Council Member of malaysiaGBC. He has over 30 years’ experience in Project Management, Green Buildings and Waste to Energy project design and development.
He is deeply passionate about Sustainability & Sustainable Development, takes a holistic approach with all stakeholder inclusivity, that he applies to all his projects, finely balancing People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace & Partnerships (5Ps).
Sinha is respected as a thought leader and mentor in many notable sustainable projects in Malaysia, Maldives and Vietnam. He has been consistently involved in capacity building for Circularity and Carbon Footprint Awareness.
He is the innovator of FatHopesEnergy, a leader in the region as a premier consolidator and processor of waste organic oils.
Zaini Abdul Wahab

Zaini has over 23 years of experience in energy efficiency(EE) and sustainable energy development, specialising in reducing operational costs for businesses.
He is certified as an expert in Energy Management System (EnMS) by United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO). He is also Registered Electrical Energy Manager (REEM) with Energy Commission, a certified energy auditor and accredited energy measurement and verification professional by Malaysia Association of Energy Service Companies (MAESCO), and a certified trainer by the HRDF.
Since 1997, Mr. Zaini has been an active practitioner in EE industry in Malaysia in both private and public sector, where he led varvarious EE initiatives in the Energy Commission, Ministry of Energy, Green Technology & Water, and SEDA Malaysia.​
He is an elected Committee Member in MAESCO since 2012 and former Vice President of Malaysian Association of REEMs.
Roland Bala

Roland Bala is Managing Director of Heineken Malaysia Berhad.
He started his career with British Petroleum (BP), where he spent 16 years working in sales, logistics, operations and planning roles in retail, gas and lubes businesses. He was appointed General Manager for BP Vietnam from 2003-2005 before then heading the lubes business for Malaysia and Singapore from 2005-2007.
Roland then joined Asia Pacific Breweries in 2008 as Special Assistant to the Regional Director and in 2009 was appointed General Manager for Danang and Quang Nam breweries in Vietnam. From 2012 to 2018, Roland was Managing Director of Cambodia Brewery Limited (HEINEKEN’s operating company in Cambodia) where he led the company to double its market share and become the market leader in the country. Since September 2018, Roland took on his present role with HEINEKEN Malaysia, becoming the company’s first Malaysian MD in its history.
Roland is also Governing Council Member of the Confederation of Malaysian Brewers Berhad.

He is also Group Chief Executive Officer and a founding member of Solarvest Holdings Bhd where he led the legacy that oversaw the Company’s strategic development from an SME to a public listed company in KLSE Ace Market. He is well networked and successful in implementing strategic commercial plans for solar market in Malaysia including grid-tied or off-grid system and self-consumption model in the business segment from rooftop to utility-scale solar. Under his stewardship together with the co-founders, the Company has grown leaps and bounds in the industry into a leading company of clean energy.

Harith Ridzuan is a 2nd generation woodworker, whose passion for business & carpentry began at the age of 10 with the family business. He began exploring the green space and gradually transitioned the 20+ year old family business towards sustainability with a focus on greener manufacturing of furniture & lifestyle products.
He founded sustainable local brands The Green Factory, Dapo, and Oran & Bula. The Green Factory brand boasts reputable clients such as Petronas, Sime Darby Property, Mandarin Oriental KL, The Datai Langkawi.
He actively runs knowledge building programs on sustainable manufacturing: at his manufacturing facility, the ‘Teaching Factory’ for tertiary students that he founded; and through his ‘Green Hammer’ outreach program to the youths and local community. He works with affiliates to cultivate Malaysia’s sustainable timber industry, with support from MTC, MTIB, and MTCC.
He has won numerous awards in Design, Innovation, Sustainability & Entrepreneurship.
Ralph Dixon

Ralph is the Director of Environmental Investments at YTL Corporation Bhd, and CEO of YTL-SV Carbon. He has been with YTL for 15 years, managing the environmental investment, carbon strategy and sustainability divisions for the Group.
Ralph has also served as a Trustee of the Malaysian AIDS Foundation, Chairman of the Pediatric AIDS Fund, and is an alternate Trustee of Reef Check Malaysia, and Chairman of Save Wild Tigers (M) LLP.
Previously, Ralph worked in investment banking for 15 years with Hoare Govett, Hong Leong and Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein. Following that, he moved into manufacturing in 2001 as the Chief Executive Officer of the paper converting factories of Detpak in Indonesia and South Africa supplying to McDonalds, Starbucks, KFC and other major quick service restaurants, hotels and bakeries. He then worked with Hong Leong Asia in Singapore as Chief Executive Officer for their recycled wood packaging subsidiary, GPac Technology before joining YTL in Malaysia in 2007.

Chuang is a financial journalist with twenty five years’ experience covering financial and capital markets in Asia and UK/Europe working for The Edge Communications, Bloomberg LP, Thomson-Reuters Plc and BFM Radio.
He has covered tech, equity capital markets, banking, mergers/acquisitions, renewables, small-caps, current and political affairs in print, newswire and radio/TV broadcast formats.
He is currently a co-host of The Morning Run on BFM, a business and finance-oriented radio station and a former Contributing Editor with The Edge Media Group in KL, Malaysia.
He also spent nine years in corporate governance advocacy as an analyst at the shareholder activist firm, the Minority Shareholders Watchdog Group.
Datin Seri Sunita Rajakumar

Sunita is a professional independent director and a strong advocate of the importance of governance in general and risk management in particular. She founded Climate Governance Malaysia which is the country chapter of the World Economic Forum’s Climate Governance Initiative, is a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Directors Malaysia, a member of the Global Advisory Board of Nottingham University's School of Business and the Advisory Panel of the UN Global Compact Malaysia’s Sustainability Center of Excellence, and is a workstream lead for the CEO Action Network, an industry led initiative to increase sustainability and climate resilience. She is Chair of Bursa-listed Dutch Lady Milk Industries and independent director of (Bursa-listed) Berjaya Corporation, MCIS Insurance (a member of the Sanlam group) and Zurich General Insurance, as well as trustee of 6 charitable foundations.
Dr Gary Theseira

Gary is a Technical Expert/Trainer at Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (MGTC). He has moreore than a decade of experience in Climate Change and Sustainability Policy Development and Negotiation at International and National levels. Skilled communicator in climate science, policy positions and measures, and effects and outcomes of implementation of measures. Gary believes in Big-Picture direction setting, consensus building and multiple-win conflict management and resolution. Strong science and analytical foundation in Agronomy, Forest Ecology, Hydrology and Carbon Quantification with Programme and Project Management, Monitoring and Reporting essentials.
